Monika is a professional artist and author with a spiritual connection with Japan and its culture. She has a Degree in visual arts, a PG certificate in Japanese and Korean art, and an MA in Research in Fine art.

Artist’s Creative Journey

I am Monika, a professional artist and author with a passion for Asian art, culture, and philosophy. It all started when i was still living in Italy and read a book called “the book of tea” through which I discovered a deep passion for Japanese ritual and aesthetics. Many of my Japanese friends told me there was something really “Japanese” in my work, and I followed a path that took me not to Japan but to England, still taking that love with me. So i have continued to study here doing a Master and connecting with people with my same passion. I have now moved to Cyprus, a beautiful sunny island, and I work as a chakra dance facilitator and creative coach. The power of the line, natural gestures, and energy always inspire me.
