Praise for Everyone can Learn Origami

A great book to learn the basics of folding and reading origami diagrams. There are so many origami books available, but few of them are designed to help a beginner learn both technique and how to read diagrams. Everyone can learn Origami starts with simple folds, and gradually ramps up the difficulty. The models within each section are fun, and the diagrams are much more comprehensive than in most other books. Be sure to purchase a large pack of Origami paper when you order this book. You’ll find yourself making dozens of models.”

The new origami bible for beginners. This is fantastic beginner origami book. The book itself is quite large and thick, with a beautiful cover. What sets this apart is the clarity of the diagrams and the wide variety of projects to fold. The book starts out with a description of symbols, and an explanation of the various folds and origami terminology. It then moves onto the projects, ranked from beginner to difficult. If you follow through you should have no problem completing the difficult folds at the end, and you’ll have a very good grasp of the art of origami which should give you confidence to continue on learning and experimenting with your own folds. There are a LOT of different projects to fold in this book, ranging from traditional Japanese folds to birds and animals. Each project is accompanied by very clear diagrams and a small photo of the project finished. You won’t be bored! It’s a very beautiful book with an updated modern look which will look great on your bookshelf. Highly recommended!”

Easy to follow instructions and cute projects. Peter’s book is geared towards origami beginners, and it is perfect for newbies. The book starts with explanations of the basic folds, then goes into the projects. Each project has multiple easy to follow instructions. In fact, there’s one image per step. It kind of reminds me of LEGO instructions. Every single step has a clearly illustrated and labeled drawing to explain it. It is the easiest to understand origami instructions that I have ever read. I started with the simpler folds then skipped ahead to a few slightly more challenging designs. It was hard for me to stop. There is something so calming about folding paper! You kind of get into a rhythm and you just want to keep making things. I honestly am looking forward to trying all the projects in this book!”

Who is this Book For?

This book is for people who are new to origami and looking for somewhere to start. The diagrams in it are incredibly detailed with one fold per step, sometimes even multiple steps per fold.  Other origami books can have intimidating instructions that assume you’re already familiar with certain techniques or ask you to repeat certain steps mirrored on the opposite side with no visual guides. There’s none of that in this book. Our goal here is to make origami as easy and accessible as possible for every one.

Please Note, this book is not for you if you’re already an origami expert. If you already know how to fold the traditional origami frog from a Frog Base then you probably already know everything that this book can teach you.
