These instructions will show you how to make a simple origami mouse. If you’re new to paper folding we recommend that you take a moment to review our Beginner’s Guide which will show you all the basic folds and techniques.
Step 1) Fold the paper in half horizontally, unfold it and then fold the top and bottom in to the centre.
Step 2) Open up the paper on the right side along the dotted lines. Fold the left side of the paper along the dotted line and then unfold it.
Step 3) Squash Fold the paper on the right flat.
Step 4) Swivel Fold the top and the bottom of the paper on the left over to the right.
Step 5) Fold the top and bottom over to the right along the dotted lines.
Step 6) Fold the model in half.
Step 7) Fold the paper over to the left.
Step 8) Fold that flap of paper back over to the right.
Step 9) Fold the top flap of paper over along the dotted line and repeat behind.
Step 10) Make two Crimp Folds to make the ears.
Step 11) Fold the tips of the ears in behind.
Step 12) Turn the paper over.
Step 13) Fold the top flap of paper over along the dotted line.
Step 14) Turn the paper over.
