Iguana Fold these 28 Awesome Origami Lizards
There are a lot of really awesome origami lizards out there including one of my all time favourite origami models, Gen Hagiwara’s Frilled Neck Lizard. Hopefully one day I’ll be able to fold it.
This post is a collection of the best origami lizards (not including snakes, that’ll be another post) that I’ve seen.
You’ll also notice that you can now click on any of these images and a larger version of the image will open in a lightbox. I’m pretty excited about that and going forward all posts will be like this.
We’ll start off with this awesome origami chameleon by Karol Kafarski. Since chameleons can change their colour to blend in you could use any colour origami paper that you want when you fold one.

Here’s Gen Hagiwara’s awesome frilled neck lizard and it’s one of my favourite origami models. One day I hope to get the diagrams and try folding this.

Thanks for your comment but unfortunately it looks like that site has uploaded scans of diagrams without the designers’ permission so I had to remove the link from your comment.
I appreciate the help but I’ll just have to pick up the book Spirits of Origami. I actually didn’t realize this model was in that book until I had mostly finished this post.
