25 Incredible Japanese Anime Characters in Origami Form

When I started following a lot of origami artists on sites like Flickr I was quite surprised to see that so many people had developed origami models that were based on characters from Japanese anime.
This post is a pretty diverse selection of origami anime characters from a really big selection of different origami artists.
Our first photo is of a character from the anime Rozen Maiden designed and folded by Kaede Nakamura.

Here is an amazing anime origami design. The character’s name is Chiyoura Ayame and she’s from a Japanese social game called “Girlfriend”.

This is a bit of a simpler design but it’s got a lot of charm and isn’t really any specific anime character. It’s certainly perfect for Christmas though.

This is an incredible origami design of a “Witch Girl” who is definitely not the character from Kiki’s Delivery Service for copyright reasons. I’m pretty sure that the entire model is from one sheet of paper.
