How to Fold an Origami Heart Corner Bookmark
This origami heart corner bookmark is a sweet little model designed by the late Francis Ow, who’s known for his beautiful heart creations.
It’s folded from a rectangle and slides right onto the corner of your page to mark where you left off. Simple, clever, and it actually stays put.
We made ours by cutting a 6×6 inch square in half, which gives you just the right size to make two bookmarks.
The heart shape sits neatly at the top, with a little triangle tucking into the page.
It’s flat, clean, and folds up quickly. Great for gifting or just keeping your own books a bit more loved.

Can I use normal printer paper but fold it in half and fold it in half the other way and cut on of the rectangles will it work.
Hi Licia, Yes, you can use regular printer paper. Fold one corner diagonally so the shorter edge lines up with the longer edge, then trim the unfolded strip to create a square. I’ll soon publish a quick tutorial showing exactly how to do it. You can also paint one side of the paper with acrylic paint before folding. It creates a nice color-change effect once the model is finished.
