I Asped When I Saw These Incredible Origami Snakes

There’s a pretty wide array of origami snakes out there. I didn’t think there would be so much since origami is usually folded from a square sheet of paper and snakes are so long, but surprisingly enough, there are some amazing origami snake designs out there.

A lot of them are folded from a giant rectangle of paper, though, but that’s ok.

We’ll start this post out with this awesome Blunt-Nosed Vinesnake.

King Cobra, Designed by Ronald Koh and Folded by Mariano

Ronald Koh has designed an absolutely amazing origami cobra. It’s folded from a super giant rectangle of paper, and it must take forever to fold the body with all those scales.

Snake 1.6, Designed and Folded by Gen Hagiwara

This great origami snake is folded from an actual square of paper.

This is a very impressive origami model designed to look like a tattoo design. The entire model with both the snake and the skull is from the same sheet of paper.

 This is another really cool design by Sebastien Limet of a snake about to eat a mouse. The entire model, again, is from one sheet of paper.

 Sebastien Limet also designed this great snake twisted around a leaf. It’s not a very difficult model to fold, too.

 Our final model is probably the best fold of this king cobra that I’ve ever seen. The paper, shaping, pose and everything is absolutely fantastic.
