Animals are definitely the most popular things to fold out of paper and over the years I’ve seen a huge amount of great origami animals.

I have a huge list of paper animals to feature so it’s time to start making some animal themed posts.

This time we’re featuring woodland animals. These are the types of animals that you’d expect to see in a forest setting.

We’ll start out with this absolutely beautiful deer. I love how it’s looking right at the camera and how expressive it looks.

Here’s another incredible deer design. I’m always amazed how these people get so much detail folded into the antlers using just one sheet of paper.
