How to Fold an Easy Traditional Origami Kimono

Origami Kimono Step-by-Step Instructions
- Difficulty: Very Easy

- Recommended paper: Chiyogami 15×15 cm
Step 1
Start with the white side of the paper facing up. Fold in half vertically and then unfold.
Step 2
Fold in half horizontally.
Step 3
Fold a small strip along the dotted line and then unfold.
Step 4
Fold the bottom angles, aligning the side edges with the crease created in Step 3.
Step 5
Fold down the small strip created in Step 3 and turn the model over.
Step 6
Fold a small strip along the dotted line, aligning it with the other strip.
Step 7
Fold the top edges down to the center line and turn the model over.
Step 8
Open up the top layers and squash fold as shown on the diagram.
